Gary met Chris at Gary Numan's house while he was rehearsing as the lead guitarist to back Gary Numan on a European tour. Chris, who at the time played a Les Paul, needed a different feel for some of his new songs and tried out a number of Hutchins semi-hollow guitars. He finally settled on the Regal, which he now plays in the studio and in all live performances.

Carl Barat to Star on Stage in London

Carl Barat has announced that he hopes to star in two plays in early 2010, athough he is remaining tight-lipped about the details. He will have a full agenda with the expected release of a solo album, as well as the possibility of reforming The Libertines with Pete Doherty.

The Guillemots Live Show Announcement

The British Council, who represent British Culture abroad have asked the Guillemots to perform as part of their 75th birthday celebrations on Oct 26th.

They will play a short set in conjunction with the fantastic Penguin Cafe Orchestra as a night of collaborations being headlined by Matthew Herbert at Barbican. The night will see a whole host of musicians coming together.

Fatboy Slim Concert Announcement

Fatboy Slim has announced that he will be supporting the OXJAM Music Festival by playing a concert in a yet-to-be announced Oxfam shop somewhere England on Wednesday, September 30th. Also appearing slated on the bill is Basement Jaxx and Stereo MCs.
